Viktoria suffers from agoraphobia, yet she continues to climb the mountains she has always looked up at from below. Together with her partner Francesco, she sets out on a hike in the Dolomites, where she meets Claudio, a solitary and disillusioned mountaineer. When an accident forces them to seek shelter in a high-altitude bivouac, fears, memories, and dreams slowly begin to blur, while the mountain remains motionless and indifferent to their lives.
